At our first day in Nadi, we met this guy who brought us to a small shop were they had a kava ceremony for us. That was interesting and very special. We got to learn a lot about
We had to cover our knees, clap our hands once and shout Bula!
After drinking it, we had to clap our hands three times and say Vinaka, that means “Thank you”.
For the next days we worked at the Nadi centre for Special Education with handicapped children. That was a very special experience. Some of the children had been to the same classes for several years. They couldn’t learn to read or write, while others were quite smart pupils. They were all adorable!
